The Beginning
In 1952, in a building on Sarat Bose Road in Kolkata, a man sat down at a worktable and began.
No grand announcement. No investors. No strategy document.
Just thread, fabric, and the belief that if you made something with complete honesty - someone, somewhere, would need it. That man was our grandfather.
What he built, we have not changed. We have only continued.
The Work
We make motifs, trims and beadwork. Each piece is a calculation of weight against the grain, engineered to behave exactly as intended once applied to the fabric.
We work by hand. Every piece. Every time. Because a machine can follow a pattern, but it cannot judge the tension of the thread.
THREE GENERATIONS. ONE STANDARD.
Our grandfather started it. Our father refined it. We are continuing it.
What began on one worktable in Kolkata is now on the world's most iconic runways. We didn’t chase that reach; it simply followed the work.
This is not a business of classrooms. It is a business of time. You watch for years, you work for years, until the knowledge is in your hands and you no longer have to think about the needle. You just stitch.
